Take a walk down memory lane together.
If it is possible travel to your home town, walk the streets and visit the schools you each attended and talk about growing up there. If you cannot go there physically, try exploring them in your mind and talk about what you remember best.
Go to your local library or look online for a book you can both read and then share your thoughts about it after reading it.
Consider the last 10 years of your life and tell each other what were the happy times like. Bring up pleasant memories and relationships and leave out the negative ones. Ask each other what created the best feeling of happiness for them. Which moments would you gladly do over if you could?
If money was not an issue, what would the two of you be doing together right now? How would your lives be different? Consider how you are living now and talk about the differences and how this comparison makes you feel.
Plan some alone time together.
What are your favorite foods? Plan a meal of them during your alone time. Perhaps even with candle light.
What music do you like? Plan to play it during your time together.
Which are you favorite movies? Plan to watch one after your meal.
