God sent Jesus to tell the world to repent and believe upon him. It seems so simple and yet it is something we must choose to do every day. Stand your ground in the face of all opposition and adversity, keeping hold of your faith in Jesus. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean upon your own understanding. Read God’s word and memorize it so you will have the strength of God to help you stand.
Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
This concludes another of Chaplain Chuck’s sermonettes.
